This is preliminary information for Turkish guests wishing to travel to the Scandinavian countries;

Attention Guests Wishing to Travel to Iceland, Norway, and Sweden!!

Iceland, Norway, and Sweden are members of the Schengen Area, even though they are not members of the European Union (EU).

Therefore, our guests who wish to travel to these countries and hold a burgundy passport need to obtain a Schengen Visa.

Holders of green (special), grey (service), and black (diplomatic) passports are exempt from visa requirements for visits to Iceland, Sweden, and Norway, provided their stay does not exceed 90 days within a 180-day period.

For Sweden, contact the Swedish Consulate in Türkiye.

For Norway, contact the Norwegian Consulate in Türkiye.

For Iceland, contact the Danish Consulate in Türkiye.

An application is required.

A Schengen visa allows for a stay of 90 days within a 180-day period and is valid for a maximum of 5 years. Schengen visa applications must be submitted to the representative of the country of your primary travel destination. If you plan to enter the Schengen Area multiple times during your trip, you should apply to the representative of the country where you intend to stay the longest. If the country with the longest stay cannot be determined, you should apply to the representative of the first Schengen area you will enter.

Finland and Sweden are both members of the European Union (EU) and the Schengen Area.

Guests holding a burgundy passport who wish to travel to these countries must apply for a Schengen Visa by contacting the Finnish Consulate in Türkiye for Finland and the Danish Consulate in Türkiye for Denmark.
